Beauty in Uncertainty

Sometimes you find yourself in a place that doesn't make sense, completely lost, unsure of everything, and in that you find beauty

All I want to do is Rock'n'Roll

Immune

I stand in a world of pestilence and death, unharmed for G-d is with me. War and famine plague the earth, yet I am at peace and do not hunger. Everything is dying around me, everyone is dying yet I have life and life more abundant. Corruption and lies rule this world yet I know truth and do not waiver. Every turn I make, I find hate and aggression yet I come out whole and filled with love.

Praise be to G-d.

Eηtertainment is a Couŋterƒeit Pяotectør

I watch T.V. when I'm afraid, to numb my mind and forget my fears. I have horrible fears that creep in when I stop entertaining myself. I believe society has trained us to run to entertainment rather than running to G-d and facing our fears with Him on our side.They've trained us to ignore real life and substitute their entertaining faux realities.

The biggest of these fears is death...
The 19th century Danish philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard, said, "We all make noise on New Year's Eve because we are trying to drown out the macabre sound of grass growing over our graves. We keep time with our clocks instead of hourglasses. This adds to the delusion, because the hands of a clock go round and round, giving us the impression that our time goes on forever. Hourglasses constantly remind us that for each of us-- time is running out!"

Our society is built on a grand delusion. We can not deal with reality without G-d, and since we want no part of G-d we must seek ways to escape reality. This is why we built entertainment, this is why our world revolves around something that is meaningless in its core, because it distracts us from having to deal with reality and therefore from having to call out to G-d for help.

"Now the (seeds) that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity." Luke 8:14

Entertainment will not help you grow it will only choke the life out of you. Entertainment can only cover your fears up for so long. G-d brings true freedom, He has conquered death, He will take your fears and replace them with love and joy.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. "- Psalm 23:4

Fear and Trembling

Sometimes the smallest things
Can fill us with such fear...

Be encouraged and fear not,
Oh Daughter of Zion,
for G-d is on your side.

The Deepest Darkest Storm

Flying through the deepest darkest storm,
I keep my eyes straight on the path.

The road gets rough,
And the path gets tough.
But I do not falter,
and though I may stumble,
I will not stop, because those moments,
Make me humble.
They strengthen me to fly faster than before,
With my eyes straight all the more,
Because I know He has promised me,
In the end I will see His beauty,
His bright lights of eternity.

Flying through the darkest storm,
I keep my eyes straight on the path,
On that glimmer of light,
The pinhole in the storm,
That will soon shine so bright.

Bright Idea

Where do our ideas come from?
Is it truly out of our own spirit?
If so, then why do so many lack new ideas?
Could ideas possibly be some divine intervention,
A touch of inspiration from our wonderful creator?

Or is it a mechanism that He placed inside of us,
When He made us in His image,
That we may create as He creates?

It is a definite possibility that,
G-d gave us the tools to create,
But many of us our so out of touch with these tools,
That we have lost our inspiration, our creativity.

Start thinking again.
Start creating.

Stop watching t.v. and letting your mind be silent.
Start sitting in silence and creating ideas in your mind.

You were made in the image of the greatest creator,
the greatest thinker, author and artist.
Therefore you too, ought to think, and create.

Stop dumbing yourselves down and start thinking
Create something wonderful and share it with the world.

Have Fun, Spread joy

Stop worrying about what people will think
Start running down the aisles and through the halls
Stop thinking about how silly you look
Start to dance, flail, and swing your arms

Have fun, this is where true beauty lies.
Spread the joy of love, with every second of you life.
Don't be afraid to act "childish"
Theres a reason G-d has told us to become like children.

Stop worrying
Start living
You have more to be happy about
Than you have to mourn for
You have more than enough reasons to never stop dancing
And more than enough reasons to never stop laughing

Let G-d fill you with His love and joy
and it will overflow out of you
into all of those who surround you

Find the beauty in playing and joyful yelling
Forget the worries of the world
And the worries of the world just might forget you.

Glimpse of Eternity

There are things way beyond this world
which my eyes long to see
and every once in a while He grants me
a soft, quite glimpse into eternity

If your not looking for it you'll miss it.
Yet if you devote your eyes to seeking it
You will never be blessed with it.

Seek Him first and He will give this to you.

Where doth Holiness abide?

See this "holy" church?
Holiness no longer abides inside of it.
Search every room,
Look in every corner,
You won't find G-d living in this structure,
or any others like it.
For G-d chose the hearts of men,
To make His home.
To make His holy temple.

No, this is just another man-made building,
Doomed to decay.
Holiness doesn't live there,
Because He chose to live in me.

Living amongst the dead

It is imperative,
When living amongst the dead,
That you find the other living creatures,
And stay close, sharing your lives,
Lest your fate lie with the dead among you.

Soon as the sun has risen with burning heat the flower fades and beauty perishes.

What is seen is temporary.
Everything fades.
Everything dies.
Beauty withers,beauty perishes.


Dwell not on the temporary.
Keep your focus on the eternal.
What is not seen, is eternal

Beauty in the Weeds

I've always liked the way weeds look.
I've always thought that weeds were just as good looking as the flowers and such that get all the attention.
theres a life lesson to be learned in that.
